Born and raised in the South Carolina, USA author S.L. Bradshaw aka: Sarah-Laney Bradshaw, enjoyed reading and writing short stories and novellas since the early years of childhood. As her love for reading grew over the years so did her passion for writing. Not long after graduating college with an Architectural/Engineering Degree she published her first unedited novel Roots on the free e-book publishing site Wattpad.com. Not long after that her novel Roots won the 2011 Watty Awards for On the Rise Historical Fiction, and she soon became popular for her other novels such as Branches, which is the sequel to the novel Roots, The Descendants Series, A Dark Rose, and many more. Now, because of much love and support she has become a popular author within the young adult and adult readers communities. S.L. Bradshaw has become popular in many different ways because of her novels, and one reason is her promise to the readers: She will NEVER publish a written work with any foul language, so both young and old can enjoy a clean entertaining story without the feeling of needing to wash the mouth out with soap.
