In the summer of 1918 a tragedy echoed across the world when the Russian Imperial Romanov family was murdered by communists leaving much of the country crying out in mourning. Yet, there was a myth that one daughter, the youngest daughter; the Grand Duchess Anastasia had escaped. Though many disbelieved, for some this would prove to be more than a rumor and it would change their lives forever. Annalisa Peterson, a senior in high school, is dying to get out and move as far away from her family as possible. Not that she has had a rough childhood, but she wants to get away from constantly being expected to be the perfect A student and consistently having to visit her great grandmother who doesn't seem to like her, and oh yeah, doesn't speak a word of English. One final class assignment could change everything that she's ever known, and could literally re-write history. To find out the truth about her family's history, it isn't long before she's digging through old papers, books, photographs, and even travelling to Russia; not to mention getting her heart tangled up with the enemy along the way. As Annalisa finds out more and more, she's quickly discovering that once the real truth is out, her entire life will be turned upside down, and life will become much more dangerous for her, and those around her. Secrets are revealed. Questions are answered. One thing is certain; Annalisa never thought that her senior year would end like this.

THE DESCENDANTS: BOOK ONE (The Descendants Series)
Over two thousand years ago a tragedy, which was long foretold, echoed across the desert land of Judah. As the eldest brother looked down with eyes covered with blood at his four younger brothers, images of each one of their descendant's flashed through his mind. Just before he cried out with his last agonizing breath, a soft smile crossed his lips as he saw the faces of the four who would be destined for greatness, the ones who would come together, and possibly change the world. Rachel Liam only had one wish for her sweet sixteen birthday, to maybe perhaps be a little more popular than her A+ nerd social status at school, and maybe actually talk to Jimmy Dodson the captain of the baseball team. So, when a mysterious package arrives exactly at the time of which Rachel was born sixteen years ago, she could only hope it's from a secret fairy godmother. Instead of magical fairy dust, Rachel receives an ancient book, which turns her world upside down. However Rachel isn't the only one trying to figure out the meaning of her destiny. There is a group known as the "Dark Ones" who vowed over two thousand years ago to put an end to the rising hope, and create a world full of darkness and hate. With the help of her best friend Kyle Adams, and her grandmother, she must come to terms with who she is, and more importantly, she must find the courage of stopping the Dark Ones, before it's too late. This is the story of Rachel Liam a girl destined for greatness.

THE PRINCESS
From the early age of childhood, Jessica Caproni knew that her family was different. She couldn’t ever keep track of how many times she had moved around because of her father’s “business”. Not to mention all the uncles and cousins that all seemed to work for her father. Then there is the fact that she always has to have a bodyguard or an “uncle” that escorts her where ever she goes, and like her father always reminds her, it’s because she is a Princess. However, two years later, Jess is about to graduate and she can’t help but wonder what exactly that means for her and her future.
